I'm getting really close with this setup and have been loving it so far. Many thanks to everyone whose efforts have put this together. I have one 'glitch' I haven't been able to find an answer to. I'm running: ASUS GeForce FX 5200 - TV Out (sVid) Hauppauge 250 - Encoder/Tuner When I use the [Option "ConnectedMonitor" "TV"] I get great resolution on my Television but no image on my monitor. Without that parameter I get great monitor image but no TV output. Is it possible to get both to fire at the same time? I have the PC in a different room than the TV so it's not overly convenient to run between rooms trying to use the TV as a monitor when I need to use the keyboard. Many Thanks, -Scott |

Read the nVidia docs. You'll have to setup twinview and I have no idea if it works on both a TV and CRT at the same time. |

Exactly what I was looking for, thanks! I was originally under the impression TwinView was for splitting a single screen to multiple monitors only. Thanks for pointing me in that direction again! |

If you search the forums for twinview someone has posted their XF86Config-4 file with thier twinview settings that worked with nvidia tv/monitor. |

Yes, I have it working. Monitor is clone of svga out. It can be a bit tricky to get all the right sync rates, resolutions, etc. And XF86Config-4 is confusing enough. But here's mine, if it's any help. I have a geforce twinhead card. Tried the config listed above, 5200ultra with 61.06 drivers, KnoppMyth R4V4.1, I get great CRT output, no TV. If I flip the config to TV only, it works, can't get both. I just need to display one on the bigscreen, send the other to the wireless transmitter to the bedroom. anyone got it working? |
