I was shuffling tuner cards around recently to try and diagnose another problem and noticed something strange. I have both a PVR250 and an older BTTV card. If I run through the install with only the PCR250 installed, sound does not work. I can play sound by piping bits to /dev/dsp but live TV is silent. As soon as I stick in my BTTV card and reboot then sound works fine. Not really an issue for me at the moment but I thought it might point to something for others. |
