I have two cards installed and neither of them work. First off my onboard AC '97 in which i tried without my other will not work, second my SB live will not work. The following did not resole the issue Login as mythtv vi .fvwm/.fvwm2rc Comment out: exec KnoppMyth-run add the following line instead: exec mythfrontend This is what the file reads exec xset -dpms s off & exec mythfrontend |

Not enough information. The fix you did is for PVR-x50(R4V2 should not have this issue). Does sound work when you play a CD or watch something from MythVideo? What is the output of lsmod | grep snd? When you install the SB Live(assuming you didn't reinstall KnoppMyth), did you /etc/init.d/alsa-autoconfig? |

I had to disable my onboard sound for my sound blaster to work. But i never did get my onboard AC '97 to work, but Thats the least of my worries now that its working. But thanx for you imput. |
