I know in previous version knoppmyth used to sync with a timeserver automatically(cron job?). Is Linhes still set up to do this? because my time seems to be getting off (3min ahead). Thank you for a great myth distro |

I believe it uses ntpd and that it's auto configured to start... you can check by doing: Code: $ sudo sv status ntpd
run: ntpd: (pid 2974) 11332s It's up on my machine as you can see (up for 11332 seconds). |

Or even better, this command will query the peers that the ntp daemon is obtaining its time from including the time offset to each peer: Code: [root@mythtv ~]# ntpq -p 127.0.0.1

Well ntpd is running Code: [root@mythtv john]# sv status ntpd run: ntpd: (pid 4514) 1857007s But I'm not sure its working right? Code: [root@mythtv john]# ntpq -p 127.0.0.1

Well I fixed it. I just restarted ntpd and it corrected the time. I'm thinking my network wasn't working the first time ntpd started. Code: [root@mythtv sv]# ntpq -p 127.0.0.1
