Ok found out my problem. The second of back to back recordings on an HDHR fail tuning the channel.

2010-01-28 21:07:22.603 TVRec(68) Error: Failed to set channel to 23_1. Reverting to kState_None

It's an old problem that has crept back from 2 years ago. Here is a thread on it:

http://mysettopbox.tv/phpBB2/viewtopic.php?t=17723&highlight=set+request+failed

Does anyone know of a real solution? Anyone in this thread seeing this with 0.22 and a HDHR? The only things I've found people to try is to using mythtv-setup:

1) changing the timeout values
2) Turn off EIT scanning. I doubt I have it on.
3) Change some setting "wait for seq start header"

I'll let you know if I get it straightened out...

Update: I changed the timeouts and verified EIT was off. Also installed latest firmware from silicondust (1 week old).

Someone on the mythtv users group mentioned it was a "network problem". Ironically I put in a new switch today to eliminate the use of two switches, thinking that it could be the problem.

Frustrating because these have been so reliable for so long...

I used the method in OP to upgrade my system to 0.22 testing back in December. I'm coming back to the machine after being away 6 months and was wondering if there's an upgrade path from this state to the current R6 official release. I've searched around for this information but apparently am not using the right search terms because I haven't found a post describing this situation. Please advise.

OT: I'd like to move the HDHR discussion to a new thread and join it because now that I'm using my HDHR for more ClearQAM channels I'm running into this issue a lot. Numerous "B"-length recordings (ie, no data at all), usually from back-to-back programs.
