mythfrontend keeps crashing

Post subject:  mythfrontend keeps crashing
After having a few small issues where LinHES would crash to the yellow screen, I was browsing around the menus and ran "Update LinHES"
without thinking of doing a backup. (I know, I know, I broke rule #1)

Anyway, the update appeared to go fine and it said it performed the upgrade just fine. However now, anytime I try to start mythfrontend, I see the background with no icons briefly and then it goes immediately back to the yellow LinHES screen.

I've searched through my frontend and backend logs and can't seem to locate what's going wrong. Here's a copy of the mythfrontend.log right after it rebooted:

And the kicker now (if you didn't notice) is that I appear to be on mythtv .22. This was NOT intended. I've simply run the 'pacman -Syu' commands previously, it's updated and that's it.

My backend it still working great, recording shows and commflagging just fine. I just can't get to the frontend to watch anything

Also, I can load up myth-setup and work in that just fine.

Any ideas?

If this helps, I was using the R6 RC, not the official latest release, when I updated this last time. I believe somehow I updated using the testing repositories. :(

Ok, I have it working again. Here's what I did.

I was trying to change my theme manually since I couldn't get into the frontend and someone recommended trying:

mythfrontend -O ThemePainter=qt


I then looked at my frontend log and this time it had the "floating point exception" Searching for that, I found this:

Sure enough, I was able to get back in and finish updating the database and it works now.
