Not quite sure what happened here, I imported a new DVD into my /myth/video folder via the menus and now I have multiple entries for a number of videos (including the new one) I cannot sem to get rid of.

To try and rectify this I ran the optimize_db.py script, which appeared to hang at seekrecording fixing.

Not sure if these two things are related. Any help?

Regards Chris

It seems from somewhere I got a recursive version of archive within archive. Possibly a by product of something else, but not sure what.

Ok, I'm definately seeing some odd behaviour in Mythvideo browser.

Last week I killed my Mythbox (R6 w.22) and rebuilt it. The issues with the multiple entries of a newly ripped dvds are back.

But ONLY using the perfect copy option. I get a usable film from the perfect rip, but for some reason my /myth/video ends up with a /video folder within it. Which ends up with multiple entries for the newly ripped film.

If I rip them as iso - no problem, except I can't get them to play with the internal player. Older ripped iso files play fine with the default (Internal) player.

Is anyone esle seeing this behaviour?

Looking in the mythfrontend.log, it seems myth is actually trying to open the dvd player to play these dvds. (I'll post an excerpt of the log later. )

Thanks for looking.

Chris

I see no real reason why you wouldn't be able to do so.
