Post subject:  Watch Recordings jumps to top after delete

This appears to be a new behavior with R6.02.

If I delete a recorded program during playback (or when prompted at the end), the newly selected recording is always the 1st recording in the list.
If I delete from the Watch Recordings list, it selects the next recording in the list (expected behavior).

In previous version of Linhes/Knoppmyth, it's always selected the recording in the list immediately after the deleted recording.

I have my Watch Recordings list sorted in chronological order (Sort all sub-titles/multi-titles Ascending).

I'm thinking this is a change in MythTV and not Linhes.

Is there a setting to change this behavior? Is this a new MythTv feature?

I've seen this too. I guess it never bugged me enough to look for a solution though.

Ditto. Kind of annoying with 463 recordings, but apparently not enough for me to do anything about it.

I think it's new in mythtv 0.22. I'm not at my box, but I think you can get around it by moving away from the deleted recording just after deleting it and before it disappears from the list so that the deleted recording is no longer the currently selected when it is cleared.

Someone asked about this on the Myth mailing list about a month ago. The last response was as follows:

Nope. You should upgrade to the current 0.22-fixes. If it still doesn't work there, you should wait for 0.23--and in the meantime can exit playback and /then/ delete. It's been changed to do more like what it did before.
