If I continuously scroll through menus with my remote, lircd's cpu usage jumps to 100%. This seems a bit extreme to me, but is it normal? I've recently moved to 6.02 and I'm using the lirc_imon module, with display_type=2 explicitly set in modprobe.d. I've only just noticed this and I don't know whether it's due to the upgrade to 6.02 or just because I've never noticed it before. I only noticed it because I was surprised that my (noisy) cpu fan cranks up just browsing the myth menus. |

So apparently this isn't a mythtv issue. I tried just with irw and still see the same huge cpu usage. I assume this is not normal. Can anyone help with what to try/where to go next? |
