pm-suspend from commandline works fine. However only resumes with remote working every-other resume.

Streamzap remote.

I've tried a couple different 'quirks' flags, to no avail. I've tried creating a modules file in /etc/pm/config.d/modules with the below:

Code:
# Modules that need to be unloaded before suspend
SUSPEND_MODULES="lirc_streamzap"

still the same every-other time does the remote work.

any suggestions welcome.

TIA

PS Also seeing this in log when it doesn't work

Code:
/usr/lib/pm-utils/sleep.d/50modules suspend: FATAL: Module lirc_streamzap is in use.

so it appears that the modules are not unloading properly.

Do you kill off lircd before you try removing the module? I think that's essential. I use a script that attempts to make sure lircd is actually shut down before attempting to remove modules. See
this thread for my script and explanation.

DUDE!! I had read that thread 10x's at least and it just didn't sink in that the 20services script had to be added! It was explained, but I must have been sleeping or something... :oops:

Thanks for the push in the right direction and also for blazing the trail in the first place!
