I have a long time workhorse machine (6.04) still plugging away, but it has built up a long queue of un flagged commercials...

Backend status shows green Flag commercials, Comments: Searching for Logo.... (?)

Any ideas, would a restore work ? File tinkering... 'Upgrade' reload from CD ?

Edit:

I deleted the program that was giving it indigestion, and tinkered with backend setup> general, and set the run time to 23 hrs & 59 minutes and selected low processor priority, then reset it back to high priority... Between these actions, it's working it's way through the queue again..... :D

Glad you got it working. I'm guessing you have/had something hosed up in one of your SQL tables. I would highly suggest that, even though it's working, you check your SQL tables (there's a thread here somewhere how to do it). I suspect you will find that some of them need some repairing.

I had checked the mythweb>settings>database of this [and several other machines] the day previously and they all came up 'OK' (and they all come up 'OK' now.)
12 hours later it's still running normally, and made a sizeable dent in the queue it had built up. :D

This one had been set to not process during viewing hours, 'cuz that cut into proc cycles needed for displaying...

Since I put in a 210 card and went to vdpau for processing, the machine's processor was rather untaxed, but this is the first time I got around to setting one up to process commercials 'all the tme' ......
The non-vdpau machines can't walk and chew gum at the same time ..... :D
