I was thinking that the next release was going to be Rev 7
and Rev 6 was going to end at 6.03

I thought that was the question only the very brave asked!

I think the usual answer is:

'It'll be ready when it's ready'

We really shouldn't pressure these guys, they do a great job for the project.

I know you probably didn't mean to apply pressure, but that question inevitably does.

According to Cecil he was going to update the testing repo to 7 around the end of August.

I wouldn't consider davefor's question to be asking "when will it be ready" more of a "whats happening".
This has long been a problem for users of Knoppmyth that the developers are so busy doing a fantastic job of developing that they don't have time to keep us informed of what is happening or planned to happen. The only announcements are "Its ready, come and get it." Which in the KM days was usually just after you installed the old version. :D

Thanks Turpie you pretty much took the words right out of my mouth.
I am not trying to add any pressure to Cecil or the developers
to put out a release before it's ready. I have been using Knoppmyth/Linhes
for about 6-7 years now and have never been disappointed. I am just a
curious person and always excited to try a new release

I stand corrected. I will now do a search for the numbering conventions for LInHES
