Hello,

Everything was going along fine, when I decided to implement the Video Storage Groups so I could see the videos in MythWeb. Now that I have done that, I don't have audio in any video I play through MythVideo. My TV recording all play audio just fine, and audio works in my browser for Flash video, so this is specific to MythVideo.

Before I undo my changes to eliminate the storage groups, is there something I should try to get audio back in MythVideo?

Thanks,

are you using a different playback application (internal vs mplayer or VLC) and if so is it possible that one playing back videos might have a mute button or the volume turned down all the way? I assume you tried rebooting.

Well, when using Storage Groups you have to use the Internal player, so that is what I am using. And I have rebooted.

I decided that being able to browse my video collection in MythWeb wasn't a good enough reason to implement Video Storage Groups, so I reverted all of my settings back to the way they were. And sound is back to working as it should.

Not sure what the problem was, but it's not worth the time to track down at this point.
