I had a 6.04 running properly for a while, when it crashed. I eventually had to restore to 6.04, right after it was properly working.
Went fine, until the schema upgrade, which failed.....
Said it was 7 schemas behind at the start. Never got back to frontend running. Currently stops at LinHes yellow splash screen.
Mythweb says backend not running, alt-3 won't start it.
Can run from command line and Webmin. Any way to salvage this ?

OK, in the absence of suggestions, I pressed ahead.
Did an 'upgrade' (down...) from the 6.02 install disk. Came up '10 schemas behind'....
Did a pacman -Syu to 6.04 & it went OK (including the schema update), despite some of the 6.04 update troubles being discussed in the other thread.... ( http://knoppmyth.net/phpBB2/viewtopic.p ... c&start=30 )
The programs survived, but I still have to punch up some of the custom stuff, like the driver for the HDPVR. (Which, to date, hasn't gone well....
