I updated my HDPVR to the latest firmware currently 1.6.29207 yesterday and as I began recording tonight I immediately noticed the picture was incredibly saturated and shifted pink / red. A-fricken-noying...

I finally came to the realization after a ton of searching and finding nothing specific to my situation that the thing that changed was the firmware. I took it back to 1.5.6.1 (from 2009) and it's normal again.

Thought I'd post this for anyone that might run across it..
