Can the Upgrade from 7.1 to 7.2 be done via pacman?

I'm not absolutely certain but I don't see why not. You can upgrade from 6.04 to 7.2. I think the repos are back in working order as I did a pacman to update from 7.2 to the latest.

So just run

pacman -Syu
and I should be good to go.

yes. That should be fine. Always make a backup first of at least the database. It has saved me countless times.

Upgrade worked great but it did create a problem with my remote. I post that on another existing link.
