G'day all, Yesterday I happened to see that 7.1 was available so I thought I would upgrade, this might help with my TBS 6982 DVB-S2 card not working. I followed the instructions at http://linhes.org/projects/linhes/wiki/Upgrade_LinHES and now I seem to be on 7.2 ![]() Upgrade problems: Needed to remove... /usr/bin/mencoder /lib/modules/2.6.28-LinHES/kernel/drivers/media/video/cx23885/cx23885.ko Ran out of disk space which the upgrade script did not detect, asked me to reboot and then I could not ssh in because runit was looping trying to start things, I think an ssl library was missing, had to go to the console and rerun the upgrade from there The problems I now have remote is not working (lirc issues) nfs is not starting devpts and tmpfs seem to be missing, not mounted or at least I get errors about them. That seems to be it for now edit 1: I have fixed the remote... I needed to change the db entry for LircSocket from /dev/lircd to /var/run/lirc/lircd and restart the FE. Remote now works. For my DB Code: update settings set data='/var/run/lirc/lircd' where hostname='mythtv' and value='LircSocket'; I need to hammer the DB since my setup screens and all black unless I change the theme from blootube-ng |

Ta, Was the /dev/lircd device that was at fault. The Code: add_service.sh rpcbind seemed to fix the nfs issue
