The directory is there as well as the mdsum but the iso is not there.
Code:

The LinHES 6.04 ISO is still missing. And since it seems that all other servers on the internet mirror the main site, they have also deleted the file.

I have a system that is already at 6.04 that I am trying to upgrade but the upgrade keeps failing. And in the course of attempting to restore from backup, the backup became corrupted as well (the OS, not the data). Without the ISO I am unable to recover to a point where I can try again. Does anyone know where I can find a LinHES 6.04 ISO image?

Thanks,

Gus

I'll check when I get home tonight if I have the CD. If so, I will find a way to get you the ISO.

A Christmas miracle just happened. I have an old hard drive that I had been using for experiments that I had retired. I had a sticky note on it about some old directory backups and it turned out that the LinHES 6.04 image is in one of those directories. I have no idea what made me think about that old drive. Maybe desperation :)

Thanks for the offer. I still wish the official download site had all its files. If one of the maintainers asks I can at least now provide some assistance.

This wish can now come true! I have a copy of the 6.04 iso as well and am in the process of having it loaded on the server by jams.

As you may recall the old server died and a lot of info was lost.

The 6.04.00 ISO is now up in its rightful place.

Yay!

Now if someone has the 7.3 iso it will fill out the rest of the missing ISO's.

I had a really hard time upgrading from 6.04 to 7.4. I had to do it in stages since the upgrade scripts are broken and I had to use the ISO's to do each step.

That one I don't have. I upgrade online from 7.2 to 7.3 and then again online to 7.4.

If someone has it then put it somewhere linux command line accessible (e.g. a web link) and pm jams or me. In my case I just uploaded to dropbox and generated a public web link.

Thanks to Bittorrent and jams, the LinHES_R7.3.iso is now available for download from the web site.
