I am using LinHes 7.3 and having a hard time finding the transcoding setup page or the recording profiles area. It's neither under the Video settings or Media settings nor under Manage Recordings. I also don't see it under the myth-config area, I thought it might be hiding in Storage Groups or something. Am I just missing it?

TIA

[edit] from the replies it appears that the Transcoding setup menu and maybe others are missing in 7.3

I can't find it either. My recordings won't play back on my PS3 unless they are 720x480 but I can't find where you set that like in earlier versions I know it was in TV Settings/Recording Profiles

Some other menu items are missing as well. I can only find one page of the Program Guide settings.

I read somewhere that they moved it to mythtv-setup but It's not there.

EDIT: Ah! I should have looked at the issues list first. I see that someone fixed and closed out the ticket earlier today, as a matter of act, for the 7.5 release. http://linhes.org/issues/846

In the mean time, anyone know of a way to get access to this using 7.4?

Bump

I can't seem to find it either. I desperately need to find it, as I've done a clean install and all my SD Hauppuage recordings have horrible audio levels :-(

Thx

-Joe

Delete /usr/share/mythtv/themes/defaultmenu/setup.xml. This is an old file that is overriding the correct file at /usr/share/mythtv/setup.xml.
