Post subject:  Logfile naming convention
Can someone explain the new logfile naming convention and why the logname.somenumber.log

Thanks for explaining. I did find out that there were 2 mythfrontend process running. I see there is also a

mythtv_mythfrontend.0.log


When I looked at it initially it had mostly mysql errors but I also see it has some entries about Player (0) waiting for buffers, what else gets logged here?

Can someone explain why my log directory looks nothing like this? I just have the old single logs for the frontend and backend.
