This is a very weird one...

My housemate assures me he was just deleting an episode of Jimmy Fallon when.... All of the recordings and categories in the "Watch Recordings" just vanished. Gone. Disappeared. Clean view, unencumbered by text.

I looked at the Watch Recordings view and, sure enough, it was completely clean. I checked the System Status and it said I have about 800GB of recordings. I looked at MythWeb and it shows all recordings, and even shows recordings made after the "event". I watched a TV program manually, and after I watched it, IT SHOWED UP in the "Watch Recordings" view. But nothing else.

I have restarted the Mythbox and checked to see if there are updates I have not applied for LinHES (nope). There have been no power spikes, earthquakes (this is California), tornadoes, high-altitude EMP events, or any other natural or man-made disaster.

Anyone have a clue??

I hate to answer my own posts... but I found the problem.

Somehow, a "filter" was set that included NO programs. Not too sure how that happened as I was unable to recreate such a filter. But setting the filter back to "All programs" returned my shows. The menu was reached by using the "M" command from the Watch recordings panel.

I never bothered with those view filters before so I didn't even know they were there!
