I'm running linhes 7.4. I keep having to up my volume via alsamixer and after a reboot, it resets. Alsactl store doesn't appear to be saving the setting like it used to, is there a new command?

not exactly the same but I was having troubles with alsa mixer with the mute. it also would not store and restore after a reboot. the only thing that solve the problem was reloading the alsa driver from the Linhes service menu. Not sure if it will solve your problem or not but give it a try.

I was able to fix the problem by setting the volume via the Services->MythTV menu. I guess that's what I get for trying to do it the "old fashioned" way... :wink:
