So I'm really loving the new info from R7.4 when I SSH into my machine. So often I found myself opening putty and mythweb to see if I should tinker or wait. Now I don't have to. HOWEVER..... I've noticed that it takes much longer after I enter my username for the password field to show up. Is anyone else seeing this? |

I have not noticed that, here the two pop up almost instantly. However I can tell you that the extra info has nothing to do with the additional delay. That info is only process post-login as part of the profile. The problem *might* be DNS try setting "UseDNS no" in /etc/ssh/sshd_config |

it's only 7-8 seconds It's not an eternity just a noticeable pause. that Fixed it. I just rebooted but is there a command to restart SSH without Rebooting? |

I think it should be: sudo sv restart sshd |
