did the script stop working to retrieve cover art?

It is still working here. According to a mythtv dev that warning can be ignored.

I'm working on setting up a virtualized master backend and am getting the exact same error:

/usr/lib/python2.6/site-packages/MythTV/dataheap.py:57: DeprecationWarning: object.__new__() takes no parameters
return super(Artwork, cls).__new__(cls, attr, parent, imagetype)

I don't see this on my tried and true standalone box. I think it's still on 7.03 though, so maybe that's it.

Is anyone else seeing this error on bootup / login? I'd like to make it go away. I hate seeing an error every time I log in with Putty.

This error is new in the newer mythtv .25-fixes builds. It has been fixed in testing which will become R7.5 at some point and R8 as well.
