When I had issues with my database upgrading from 6.02 to 6.04 and on to 7.2 I found the best way was to take my 6.02 database make a brand new clean install of 6.02 in a virtual machine on my Windows box do a partial upgrade and then try to upgrade again from there. Once I had a working 7.2 backup I did a clean install on my LinHES box and restored it. Worked like a charm. |

Since the database crashed the light went on in the tunnel from jams. Mythconverg contracted (2 copies and half the tables). I'm surprised that it even worked at all this way. So the next question now is what to do? (import, restore, migrate) the working mythconverg from last backup of R7.5 into my currently empty R8.02 and get the schema up to 1299?
