My sound on mythbox is going fine and is going through HDMI however no sound is heard when I watch an appke trailer. The funny thing is if I look at the xml and run the command via the command line the audio works fine. I am currently running v8 |

Did you ever get this solved? I have the same problem with no sound in Apple Trailers using HDMI audio. It works fine on my other machine that is using analog audio. I see another thread here that is solved by removing the mplayer config files but I'm guessing I need to add one for HDMI audio. Thoughts? |

Sometimes I've noticed that MythTV frontend can keep control of audio even if you aren't playing a video. Try rebooting and going straight to apple trailers. Did you set up audio through Service Menu->LinHES Settings->audio and then Service menu->MythTV settings->setup->audio? I noticed also that if the LInHES settings were wrong and the MythTV settings were right I could still get audio from MythTV but not Chrome. |

I did get it going and it was the mplayer config that was the issue. Follow that other post http://forums.linhes.org/viewtopic.php?f=21&t=24008 and you should be good to go. |
