Post subject:  An audio question...

First of all MERRY CHRISTMAS everybody!

I have a question about whether an audio setup is possible... I have a Zotac Mag frontend running HDMI connection to an LCD panel. I want to know if it is possible to run audio through both HDMI and the stereo jack simultaneously (or any other jack for that matter) - sort of like twinview for video. I have an old stereo receiver with no HDMI input and, on occasion, would like to pipe music through it (like Mythmusic or Pandora).

Thanks
Jenks

With pulseaudio, this is easy to do. Dunno if LH ships with PA or has packages for it. See the following and additional examples on the page to whet your appetite: https://wiki.archlinux.org/index.php/Pu ... log_output

This might help.

Read to the bottom there are some links. viewtopic.php?f=25&t=21985&view=previous

(I can't find pulseaudio in the repository so this might be a no-go?) https://wiki.archlinux.org/index.php/Pu ... log_output

It get's tricky if you want to send digital Stereo audio to the TV and multi-channel audio to something else. If both are stereo it should be easier. I tried to do a similar project (Audio to TV via HDMI and Audio to Amp via SPDIF) my TV was too old and too particular about it's feed.

Pulse isn't in the LH repos and won't be anytime soon.

Is there a web interface for the LH repos similar to how Arch does it? The link I have is no longer valid.

I was too hasty when I saw the 'kernel-*' entries here and no 'linux-*' entries : http://linhes.org/repo/src_packages/core/

The core and extra src_packages often get forgotten when we sync from -testing. It is quite out of date right now. The most accurate is git.
