I checked the box to load Plex, and I don't see any instance of it running. the clients don't see it either. Anyone know how to get it up and running on R8.3 ? |

Once it is selected in LinHES Settings -> Programs then there should be a new menu item in Media Library called Launch Plex. |

Try unchecking Plex in LinHES Settings -> Programs, Next and Finish. Then go back in and check it, next and Finish. |

From a term what do you get: Code: sudo pacman -Ss plex-home-theater Code: ls /etc/gen_lib_xml.d/

I thought I had pushed the plex update to release already but I guess not. It is there now. Code: sudo pacman -Syu

Is this installation a Plex server or client or both? I was hoping this would send my recordings to my Plex app on my Roku 3.....(fingers crossed) |

This is only Plex Home Theater which is the client. Plex Media Server hasn't been packaged. |

I think the problem with Roku is that it doesn't decode MPEG2 so you would have to transcode on the fly. Here is a discussion about it. http://www.reddit.com/r/PleX/comments/2 ... anscoding/ |
