Recently, I have started to get more "B" recordings from my HDHR Prime. Looking at the backend log it states that the program is encrypted which I guess means the CCI flag is nor marked as "Record Freely". Is there a way to know in advance which programs are "record freely" and which ones are restricted. Does Schedules Direct have this info? That would allow for me to alter some recording schedules and know if I was going to have a recording to watch or not. |

I don't believe that Schedules Direct would have the info since Cable companies turn it on, on a whim. I think the first time that you can know about it is at broadcast time. Are they OTA stations or are they cable? |

They are just a few cable channels but it is some of the bigger ones (TNT, Tbs). Funny thing is I never had a problem for years. Last month we had a bad storm and for some reason the cable card became unauthorized. I am now guessing that may be when the problem started. I'll give my good friends at Verizon a call today. |
