Post subject:  Shutdown Problem with v86d

For the past month I have an occasional shutdown hang with Mythwelcome Shutdown, Maybe once a week or so. Today I was watching and NBA game from last night. It got frozen in the middle so I closed it and went back to the point in time were I left it off. Then watched the rest of the game. Seemed fine. When I was done deleted the game, then disabled the PVR. I noticed that the LInhes Mythwelcome was not shutting down the box. So I clicked M and then Shutdown. After 5 minutes of waiting with the message POWER DOWN on the screen. I got tired of waiting so I pressed the power button and then the message showed up exactly the same and in the past month with Mythwelcome.

Code:
Unmounting non-API file systems
- runit leave stage /sbin/runit/3
- runit leave stage /etc/runit/3
-runit poweroff

Then this message appears
Code:
failed to execute /sbin/v86d
make sure that the v86d helper is installed and executed
failed to execute /sbin/v86d
make sure that the v86d helper is installed and executed
failed to execute /sbin/v86d
make sure that the v86d helper is installed and executed
mode switch failed (eax-0x4f02, err - 16)

Any insight would be helpful

Have any USB devices?

I have problems if one of my usb devices gets an error or is powered off. If that happens shutdown always hangs
