tl:dr - What's the best option for installing RetroArch
http://www.retroarch.com/

and PCXS2 on my LinHES system? They both appear to be in the Arch repository:
https://www.archlinux.org/packages/comm ... retroarch/
https://www.archlinux.org/packages/mult ... _64/pcsx2/

Can I just add the Arch repository to pacman.conf, or is that a Bad Idea and I need to build from source per here:
http://www.linhes.org/projects/linhes/w ... ES_Package

Background: I've been getting into retro gaming with my daughter, and I while I know there's MythGame, I loaded RetroArch on an older Windows laptop to try it out and fell in like with it. Now, I'd like to consolidate everything on the mythbox if possible.

Adding the arch repo to pacman.conf is a very bad idea and can quickly get you into a mess. You can try downloading the package and installing it with pacman -U but you will likely run into dependency issues. It would be best to build it.

Understood about the Arch repo, and will try building from source. Thanks!
