After the last upgrade, my PVR250 blaster once again stopped working. The remote is working fine but I can not get the blaster to output anything.
Doing an irsend gives
Code:
[mythtv@envy ~]$ irsend SEND_ONCE blaster 3

transmission failed
Error running command: Input/output error

I made sure I have the correct lircd.conf but still no good.

Looking in dmesg I found it complaining about firmware.

Code:
[   13.097887] lirc_dev: IR Remote Control driver registered, major 242
[   13.148598] lirc_zilog: module is from the staging directory, the quality is unknown, you have been warned.

Anyone see anything in there to tell me why. Thanks for any help.

I am still not able to get my IRBlaster to send. dmesg reports:

Code:
dmesg | grep blast
[   10.587456] ivtv0: Reopen i2c bus for IR-blaster support
[   12.958041] i2c i2c-1: Direct firmware load for haup-ir-blaster.bin failed with error -2
[   12.958047] i2c i2c-1: firmware haup-ir-blaster.bin not available (-2)

I tried to load up the Zilog firmware using the advice from the above link but got this:
Code:
[mythtv@envy ~]$ sudo pacman -S zilog-firmware
resolving dependencies...

Any idea why the firmware wont load?
