and...

I have fixed system time
Code:
[root@mythtv ~]# date
Fri May 18 09:48:01 BST 2018

and db time is correct:
Code:
mythtv Fri May 18 09:49:29 2018 [(none)]: select now();
+---------------------+
| now()               |
+---------------------+
| 2018-05-18 09:49:34 |
+---------------------+

but web time is incorrect:

Code:
 MythWeb: Thu May 17, 2018, 09:47 PM

I have tried a reboot (just in case) and all times have stuck, system and DB but the web is 24 hours behind, very strange...

So it seems that something changed (I may have rebooted, but now the webpage is showing the correct date time.
I have scheduled a recording and will see it if records.

/usr/LH/bin/myth_status.py still show wrong times:

Code:
Upcoming Recordings (Next 12 Scheduled):
----------------------------------------
    Fri May 18 02:10PM - mythtv - 1 (BBC 1) (BBC 1)
Sat May 19 06:00AM - mythtv - BBC News at Six (BBC 1)

Sat May 19 11:00AM - mythtv - Bones (Your TV)
    Sat May 19 12:10PM - mythtv - Gogglebox (4Seven)

It like 12 hours in the future.

I may have fixed the issue. Not sure what I did and maybe it just took time to work, but it seems that things have moved to the correct time - wierd.

I had a similar problem with the wrong timezone in Mythweb. This explained and fixed it.

For posterity, I experienced the same issue, and it was caused by stale data in the mythweb_sessions table. Truncating the table and refreshing solved the problem.

Code: Select all
mysql -umythtv -p mythconverg -e 'TRUNCATE TABLE mythweb_sessions;'

How did it get that way?
I had restored an older database while working on a totally different issue.

OK, that could make sense for the web portion as the timezone is included in there.

"Europe/London"

Which I assume it was not before.
Still does not explain why the recording were ~12 hours out but I will put that down to me fiddling and eventually doing something correctly.

Only have deinterlace issues and jerkyness when panning now.
Oh and xscreensaver does not work until 8.3 and it looks like smartlctl is foobar'd

And it seem to have lost a random selection of recording rules. IE the news it used record every day now thinks it has been recorded already <grrr>
And it does not want to shutdown when there are no recordings to do.
And I need to remove that annoying xymon stuff that pops up (disk removed, I know they are full!)
And the annoying putting logs in a date directory (gah! I hate that) They never seem to be deleted (fixed!)

This spam:
[code2018-05-21T15:50:01.092555+01:00 mythtv postfix/postfix-script[30634]: error: unknown command: ''
2018-05-21T15:50:01.095373+01:00 mythtv postfix/postfix-script[30635]: fatal: usage: postfix start (or stop, reload, abort, flush, check, status, set-permissions, upgrade-configuration)
][/code]
and this:
[code2018-05-21T15:51:36.542149+01:00 mythtv ntpd[961]: ntpd 4.2.6p5@1.2349-o Wed Aug 1 19:32:53 UTC 2012 (1)

][/code]

I will upgrade a bit more, that will fix some of the issues! :-)
Onwards and upwards.
