Thank you for doing that. It's helping as I try to envision in my head how everything will go for my upgrade. Regarding that.. screen 1 and screen 3 have 'upgrade' as an option. (It also seems that screens/steps 2 through 9 are similar to what was in KM, with screen 1 the kickoff for automated upgrades..) What is the difference of the two upgrades / What does screen 3 upgrade do? |

You're welcome. It's more descriptive that an exhaustive guide. Screen 1 as I recall has several options, one option is "Install or Upgrade" as a single button. I think you can also run a LiveCD frontend from this screen too. All users wanting to install or upgrade should select that option. Perhaps I made the guide too confusing. On screen 3 you will either do a fresh install or upgrade an R5.x box. |
