A little bit obscure. I am using ATI Remote Wonders to control two front ends. The distance between them is just such that on occasion a button press for the remote in the room with the other front end will be received usually at a time which really impacts the WAF. Luckily the ATI Remotes can be set to different channels and LIRC can be configured to listen on a specific channel.

1) edit /etc/modprobe.conf and add
Code:
#ATI Remote Channel #1
options lirc_atiusb mask=65333
#ATI Remote Channel #2
#options lirc_atiusb mask=65330

2) set the channel on your remote
- Press and hold the 'hand' button until the LED flashes
- Press the number of the channel you want
- Press the hand button (the LED will flash the number of times to indicate the channel you picked)

3) Reboot, although I am sure some appropriate service (lirc?) restart would do as well

I would guess channel #3 mask is 65327 but I have not tested this.
