I've gone through a number of things converting from Comcast to Verizon and Firewire to QAM. At this point I have the QAM channels setup, the xmltvid set for each one, and I have my new Verizon schedule information added to my account in SchedulesDirect. Unfortunately, I'm not getting any scheduling or channel information after running mythfilldatabase.

Here's some lines in
Code:
/var/log/mythtv/mythbackend.log
that may shed some light.

Code:

Any suggestions of where to look at my configuration or further logs to check?

RESOLVED

Turned out I didn't have DNS servers configured correctly after I moved it to a static IP. I've put it back on DHCP and configured Verizon Router to assign that IP to its MAC Address.

Now getting data from mythfilldatabase :-)

Or not :-(

I'm still experiencing the same lack of any data being in the Program Guide. I've run
Quote:
sudo mythfilldatabase
it appears to fetch the data (big improvement since last time). I've restarted the machine twice since then. I've checked the MythTV Setup. I have the correct xmltvid for each of the stations according to Scheduled Direct.

What can I do now?

Thanks!

Try mythfilldatabase --refresh-all. Also make sure the date/time are correct on the system prior to running mythfilldatabase.

Additional mythfilldatabase options: http://www.mythtv.org/wiki/Mythfilldatabase

I tried that both with the backend running and with it stopped. It appears to get all the data, but my program guide is all "unknowns." I did not find anything on the standard mythfilldatabase to try.

Any other suggestions?

Have you tried looking a couple days in advance? Try looking for data 5 days in advance of the current date.

I have seen similar problems where I don't see data right away but looking several days ahead and the data was there, and once it got to that date all was well. Worth taking a look ...
