I have just completed an upgrade from 6.x to 7.2 (along with a new motherboard and cpu) and my resolution is all messed up. According to the screen setup Wizards it is 800x600 all my recording, etc are stretched and have the letterboxing. I suspect that it has to do with bad edid, but I can't seem to get xorg to work. Here is my config, and I was hoping someone might be able to help or point out what I am missing.

As for the live tv issue it just sits there for awhile on the OSD (show the title of the show currently on) with back screen and eventually errors out with "erro opening jump program file"

Thanks for any help you can provide. This upgrade did not really go well for me and I only know enough about all this to be dangerous.

If you are doing a copy-paste of your xorg.conf from a previous install, it might be contributing to the issue. What happens if you remove the xorg.conf file from the system? Linhes normally does not need one.

Also, it would be helpful to post your Xorg.0.log file located in /var/log/. That will let us know what is going on with your EDID.

I deleted the xorg.conf file from /etc/X11 and rebooted the system. Below is the Xorg.0.log file from that reboot.

It looks like according to this section it is detecting all the "right" modes.

Well, its a good sign that your EDID is coming back with validated 1080p modes. You have probably already done this, but did you go into Service Menu > Linhes Configuration > Display settings and try to adjust any of those values? If not, I would give that a shot. It looks like from your log that if you select "Nvidia-auto-select" it will output 1080p at 60 Hz.

Thank you, I am an idiot. I never thought to scroll down on that screen and the theme does not really indicate that there are more option below. SO I assumed they were gone or moved.
