Solved my own problem.
I needed to use the nVidia 8400 option in the Special Hardware. Now the install is working

I am trying to build a development machine for getting my Hauppauge HD-PVR 1212 working from an old box I had at work. It is a Dell Optiplex 270 with an nVidia video card. I boot from my freshly made LinHES 7.4 CD and select the default install. It goes through with a bunch of status updates being DONE and then the last thing is Code: > Finished :: Stopping Fbsplash daemon Detected nVidia as the video card type Installing nvidia 96xx drivers and then it stops there. It has been sitting there with the cursor flashing for 20 minutes. Any suggestions? Thanks! |

Solved my own problem. I needed to use the nVidia 8400 option in the Special Hardware. Now the install is working
