I am running LH 7.4 very happily. Things are running smooth, so I do not plan to update to 8.0 soon. That said, I know that xbmc was updated from 10.0 to 12.2 in the extras repo as part of the LH 8.0 launch. I am wondering if I tried to update xbmc and dependencies via pacman on my LH7.4 system if I would bork anything with my LH 7.4 setup, specifically with the dependency updates? |

That is a complete no go. R8 pkgs are all compiled as x64, while R7 is all i686. You would need to pull all the PKGBUILD and rebuild the deps and XBMC as i686. |
