Hi, at risk of asking something that has been addressed previoulsy (have searched forum, but no luck) .......here goes. I have been given a GT740 graphics card which needs the 340.46 driver. Is there a process documented to upgrade the driver (howto or forum post...that i couldn't find) in linhes . Is it just a case of following the procedure in the NVIDIA howto or is it (as i expect) a little more complex than that. I tried the NVIDIA install approach but got errors stating no gcc, so would like to check that i'm going down the right path before I go any further. Apologies for (probably) going over old ground and asking about a process that would I expect be considered simple. Regards Brizi (inexperienced user....that can muddle through...usually) |
