Wow... The developers have done an outstanding job again. This upgrade was absolutely painless - and I have several extra packages installed (yes, I know that is not recommended). I have 5 machines in several different states - 4 of the five were upgraded in about 90 minutes including the normal tweaking... (the last will be done tomorrow).

Thanks for your tireless efforts.

I should note that I used the upgrade from .iso path - downloaded the image to a cd and installed from there...

Kudos to Brittany and the team ... :D

I just did the upgrade option (from disk) 8.1.1 to 8.2

No hitches during the upgrade run. No problems at the startup, everything working.

Way to go !!! ....

Is everyone upgrading from the ISO disk? Is anyone having success upgrading from the script?

Not counting any of my testing boxes, I have upgraded 3 production boxes I manage with the script.

I upgraded from the script and 98% went perfectly. The only things that didn't come through the upgrade were non-standard. I had changed the XBMC.sh to launch script to fix overscan for my TV. Also in XBMC I had to change the sound settings and it seems that it can't contact MythTV backend anymore I need to investigate that one still. No one else will have these problems so i give you an A+ Best upgrade I've ever had.
