I'm trying to install the current stable release R8.4.1 and I keep running into the same problem after mysql check etc..see below.

I'm using an IBM Thinkcentre 82121QU with 2560MB of memory installed. An intel P4 cpu @ 3.0Ghz
with 80GB sata hdd. I plan on turning this into a tv box.

I get stuck here..

Job for linhes-install.service failed because the control process exited with error code. See "systemctl status linhes-install.service" and "journalctl -xe" for details

Any ideas?

Hello. I am facing the same issue. Were you able to find a resolution? Thank you.

I had his problem as well. I was able to work around it by selecting "Special Hardware" and then "Force use of vesa driver" from the initial menu when booting. This did cause the image to shift horizontally on my TV and wrap around the other side but I was able to see everything and get through the installer. Unfortunately, it freezes at the end when I select restart or shutdown and if I reset the machine, it can't find a bootable disk. That is probably a separate issue, though.
