After pacman -Syu, I am no longer able to get program listings. After stumbling through
Code:
https://www.mythtv.org/wiki/XMLTV#MythTV_Setup

and running
Code:
tv_grab_zz_sdjson_sqlite --configure --config-file $HOME/.mythtv/SD.xmltv

there was no Lineup listed.
And going to
Code:
https://www.schedulesdirect.org/lineupsupport

I get the message at the top of the screen
Code:
Warning: 1. Unable to fetch SD-JSON lineups

Is this likely a temporary problem or am I SOL?

This sounds familiar. viewtopic.php?f=21&t=30003
I had to set up the grabber from the command line not from the GUI and this post helped me. http://forums.linhes.org/viewtopic.php? ... cf#p143584
Because the documentation is severely lacking.

Many thanks, I had seen that post, but it was hard for me to separate out what was relevant for me. Understanding the MythTV setup section "Run the configuration" was key. If you start lower down in the instructions, they just say to substitute the "source" for "SD" in the configuration command, and that was not very clear to me. In "Run the configuration" they say "The value YYYY in the configuration file name corresponds to the Video Source Name" and that was a lot more helpful!
At any rate, after doing all of that, a new lineup appeared at Schedules Direct for the JSON service, and the warning disappeared.
But then when I ran mythfilldatabase, it first said there were no channels defined for this grabber and it seemed to hang. That ran so fast with the data direct service, I figured something had gone terribly amiss, and I canceled out. Then I ran it again and it found nine channels, but hung again, so I cancelled. I then ran it again, and it slowly churned through a bunch of undefined channels, so I just went away and let it run. Much to my surprise, it ran to completion and eventually populated the database.
So now I have the program guide, I just wonder if it will continue to update ...

Yes the documentation is not clear at all. It's really annoying because it used to just work in the GUI.
