The G31-M chipsets are pretty power efficient and you can get one for about $50. Just wondering if anyone is using KM or LH on one of these? Most if not all have a PCIexpress 16x to add a VDPAU-compatible card. Example: Gigabytes G31M-ES2L for G31-M but it's kinda old.... for an extra $15 you can get a G41 chipset like the GA-G41M-ES2L . Maybe a mute point since the plan will be to use an 8400GS for VDPAU anyway.
