Is there a replacement or update for the Atomic Ant as I am within the next month going to build a system of similar size and was wondering if there had been like a refresh to the spec? Thanks |

Any ION would do as a replacement. I however favor a particular one as it can be powered on via remote. Just need to put it thru the paces before providing more details. |

My 7 year old mythbox is dying. I just ordered a new box yesterday based on ASUS AT3N7A-I Intel Atom 330 NVIDIA ION. I got it mainly because of the PCI slot as I couldn't find a DVB-S USB card that met my criteria. I'll let you know how it goes. I'm thinking of experimenting with different distros though as it is a perfect opportunity when starting from scratch to see what the competition is like. |
