Hi all,

I am running R6.02. Have an SBE with a KWorld 115 which works great. Added a hauppauge PVR-150 (well, 2 actually) and thought it would be fairly easy to get them to work - no such luck. I defined one of them as a capture card, connected it to a video source but I do not get the channels listed in the EPG. Plus I can't switch to that card while watching LiveTV, I'm simply stuck with the kworld 115. Logs look good as below AFAICT but when I go to the myth frontend on the SBE it does say "Tuner 72 has an error". But how can I figure out what the error is?

"dmesg | grep -i error" returns nothing.
Errors.log is blank.
I don't see anything obviously bad in mythbackend.log

Make sure you define it as an "IVTV MPEG-2 encoder card". Then assign the analog video source (I am assuming you have cable) and re-scan channels.

I noticed the capture card type descr had changed from R5 ok, but I had guessed the one you mentioned.

For fun I switched it to use the SVIDEO i/p, rebooted, switched it back to "Tuner 1", rebooted again and now it works! What the heck? I have no idea what happened but I ain't complaining!

Thx for the reply.
