I was running R6.02 and updated to R6.03 soon after I noticed one of my tuners was missing in the "Backend Status" page on the web interface.

After some digging I found it was my HVR-1600 that was working fine in the previous version of R6. Was there anything that changed in that update to cause it to stop working?

I can see all four of my tuners listed in lspci
Code:
02:0a.0 Multimedia video controller: Conexant Systems, Inc. CX23418 Single-Chip                    MPEG-2 Encoder with Integrated Analog Video/Broadcast Audio Decoder
02:0b.0 Multimedia video controller: Internext Compression Inc iTVC16 (CX23416)                    MPEG-2 Encoder (rev 01)
02:0c.0 Multimedia video controller: Internext Compression Inc iTVC16 (CX23416)                    MPEG-2 Encoder (rev 01)
02:0d.0 Multimedia video controller: Internext Compression Inc iTVC16 (CX23416)                    MPEG-2 Encoder (rev 01)

I never shows up in dmesg though. I also tried "dmesg | grep 23418" hoping to see the chipset for the HVR-1600 got nothing out. If its broken then oh well maybe next update.

Code:
dmesg | grep ivtv

Hey what the heck the path changed to /dev/v4l/video0 like its stated in this post.
http://mysettopbox.tv/phpBB2/viewtopic. ... ht=hvr1600

I thought my tuner might have bit the dust there for a while.
