Out of the blue my R6 box's menus went wacky. Totally unreadable, blocky, blotchy, spots, lines. it looks like an 8-bit nightmare. When I boot the console screens are fine. when LinHES boots the splash screen is fine. As soon as mythfrontend starts the menus are shot and I can't read anything. Is there a way to wipe the video setup and start over? I connected via ssh and did a pacman upgrade hoping it might help but all that's done is get me into the error about upgrading the database and then it won't connect to it. it has to be something I can do via the ssh console. If not I'll have to try a complete reinstall but I don't want to wipe the video drive with all my shows on it. |

It sounds like you might be out of drive space. From the ssh login run "df -h" and look to see if the / partition is at 100% If so, it is probably log files in /var/log eating up space. |

I dug up another video card today and that was the problem. Now I just have to get the frontend/backend working again |
