I accidentally put this in the wrong section so here it is again in the right area:

I have setup LinHES in a virtual box as I wanted to test it out as an option for a friend who is running a Vista Media Center which keeps having problems.

Now the issue that I have is that it would appear that the tuner isn't recognised in LinHES 6.04. I've found this:

http://knoppmyth.net/phpBB2/viewtopic.p ... t=tinytwin

but looking around I can't find 07.00.02.

I want to test LinHES out to see if it is suitable for him and also probably use it for my mother in law. I don't want to make him buy a new tuner until I know it will do the job ok.

So is there anyway I can get the TinyTwin running on 6.04 so I can test it?

I did notice that it says Australia I am assuming that you are testing it Down Under right?
OK so according to the LinuxTV website It should work with the latest version of DVB/V4L. Try updating DVB and V4L.
I never had any luck with Virtual Machines and tuner cards. I would have added an old HD to the Comp and installed on that then used a boot manager.
I have no experience with this "card" So I can't be of much help. Good Luck.
