So just when everything was going smooth for me, the Comcast Xfinity upgrade came along. From what I'm reading on the web and from personal experience, it seems that this upgrade removes the ability for myth users to change channels via firewire. mythchanger does not error out, it just does not work at all. I cannot even get it to turn on the box. So, I'm looking once again for assistance on getting an irblaster working with /dev/ttyS0 while separately using my Hauppauge pvr-150's remote receiver. Second question... I'm reading that said receiver can also be a transmitter. Can that be done simultaneously?? If so, how? Thanks, -Abs |
